Lost Ways Project
Help from members who love peering over maps, have an appetite for detective work and are fairly computer friendly.
There could be many historic routes in our area which for a variety of reasons are not recorded on the definitive map. If they are not identified and claimed by 2026 it will be too late – they will be ‘lost’ i.e. not accessible to the public.
2026 is only 10 years away!
Our group has set up a small working party to find these ways, but we need more help to complete the work in time.
